    Sawallisch is doing a better job and the Philadelphia Sound is more present than before. Still, it is a pale reflection. When I started collecting classical music Ormandy and the Philadelphia were damn near synonyms. Of course, at one time the same was true of Stokowski and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
